From the samples taken during drilling boreholes
specimens were formed for the laboratory testing
program, which comprised the testing of physical and
mechanical properties of clay from the dam. Fig. 2 shows
the plasticity of clay from the dam, determined on
samples from the B2 and B5 boreholes.
